"Scratch & Win"
Contest Rules
Canadian General Filters "Scratch and Win" promotion will be held from September 1, 2009 through to March 31, 2010. The Scratch and Win promotion is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority in their province of residents.
All models of our humidifier line will contain one Scratch and Win card inside the box, as well as an Instant Savings Coupon for the Elite Steam Series and the MAC Series specified on the coupon. The box will be clearly marked with an announcement sticker on the outside of the box.
Instant Savings Coupons
When you purchase an Elite Steam Unit, Models DS15, RS15, DS25, DS35, RS35, DS50, you are entitled to $75.00 instant savings. Submit your coupon to an authorised CGF Wholesaler when purchasing one of the above Elite Steam models and you will receive $75.00 off the purchase price. Only one credit per coupon. The Wholesaler will submit the coupon, along with proof of sale to Canadian General Filters Ltd to receive a credit on their account.
When you purchase a MAC1400, MAC2000, MAC2020, or a MAC L, you are entitled to $20.00 instant savings. Submit your coupon to an authorised CGF Wholesaler when purchasing one of the above MAC Series Air Cleaners and you will receive $20.00 off the purchase price. Only one credit per coupon. The Wholesaler will submit the coupon, along with proof of sale to Canadian General Filters Ltd to receive a credit on their account.
Instant Savings Coupons only apply to the products listed and cannot be used for any other products or be redeemed for cash value. Only one credit per coupon. Instant Savings Coupons expire May 31, 2010.
Scratch and Win Cards
There are approximately 44,000 Scratch and Win Cards across Canada, excluding Quebec. The odds of winning are 1 in 40. If you scratch a winning card, fill out the form and mail it to CGF Products, 400 Midwest Road, Scarborough Ontario M1P 3A9 along with proof of purchase and we will forward the prize directly to you. Your entry will also be submitted for our Grand prize draw on June 16, 2010.
If you scratch a non-winning card, fill out the form and mail it to CGF Products, 400 Midwest Road, Scarborough Ontario M1P 3A9. Your entry will be submitted for our Grand prize draw on June 16, 2010.
All entries must be received by May 31, 2010 to qualify for the Grand Prize Draw on June 16, 2010.

Prizes

Prizes and images may not be exactly as shown. All prizes must be accepted as awarded. Prizes are approximate retail value as of Sept 2009. Please allow a minimum of 2 – 4 weeks for delivery of prizes.
All prizes over $100.00 will be awarded at the discretion of the owners or principles of the contracting firm.
Grand Prize
The Grand Prize is a Caribbean Cruise for 2 for 1 week, including air fare. Travel arrangements will be handled by a designated CGF travel agent. The draw will be held June16, 2010.
The winner and his/her guest shall be responsible for all travel and medical insurance for the duration of the trip, ground transportation to and from the airport, gratuities, applicable taxes, incidentals and any and all expenses not specified in the description of the Grand Prize.
Winner and guest must travel together and depart from Toronto, Halifax, Ottawa, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg or Vancouver, based on seasonality and availability. Winner and guest are responsible for ensuring that all travel papers (visas, passports, tourist cards etc) or proper identification for country of travel are in good order, and are valid prior to, and for the entire duration of the prize trip.
Both tickets must be used on the same itinerary. Travel insurance is recommended and must be purchased at time of booking. All required documentation for the prize will be sent via courier directly to the selected entrants home only after the selected entrant has met the eligibility requirements outlined in these contest rules and regulations and the official contest declaration and release form has been signed by the selected entrant and his/her guest and returned to Canadian General Filters Ltd.
No changes to travel dates or passenger names are permitted once the booking has been made. Canadian General Filters assumes no responsibility for cancellations or changes after the original booking. Trip must be taken no later than April 30, 2011.
Declaration and Release
Entrant`s release Canadian General Filters Ltd and its/their affiliated companies and their respective directors, officers and agents from any and all claims or liability in connection with their participation in this promotion or the acceptance of any prize. By act of entering this contest, you have read and agreed to abide by these official rules.
All prizes must be accepted as awarded, are non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. Trip must be taken by April 30, 2011.
The promotion is open to all residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the promotion is not open to our Wholesalers and CGF employees and their immediate families and / or any person residing in the same households.
